Today is New Jersey Concussion Awareness Day 2022

Back in 2016, I looked around and saw a real gap in concussion care. People didn't know which medical provider to see and when they went to see someone, often they left with no more information than when they went in.

I came up with the idea for Concussion Awareness Day and worked with Assemblywoman Valerie Huttle to establish this important event on the official NJ calendar.

My practice is dedicated to helping people with concussions and other vestibular (dizzy) complaints because although these may be "invisible injuries" to many, they are visible to me. It is my passion to help people recover from these injuries and return to their normal lives.

We can only help those who know we are here to help though. So this event every year gives us an opportunity to get the word out!

Let people know - concussions and dizziness are treatable and your PT might just be the best person to see!
